Los
seres de la serie “o sea nos”, comparten con el océano su devenir desde el
agua. Son personajes intensos. La impronta expresionista y el gesto patético se
concentran en el rostro y las distorsiones morfológicas de cada uno de ellos.
Envueltos en un mundo que, -se insinúa- acuático, cargan con ese dramatismo.
Algunos de ellos generan un aire de sensualidad y leveza, otros evocan
atmósferas inquietantes en donde se acentúan las deformaciones y lo grotesco.
Así,
Susel, va combinando elementos luminosos, alegres, con otros densos y oscuros,
para ofrecernos un relato lleno de matices y contrastes. En su obra, el océano
es la esencia y la metáfora para contar las historias, así como sus
pensamientos más profundos.

The characters of the series
“O SEA NOS”, share with the ocean their existence from the water. They are
intense characters. The expressionist stamp and the pathetic gesture
concentrate on the face and the morphological distorsions of each one of them.
Involved in a world that
appears to be aquatic, they are loaded with dramatism.
Some of them generate an air
of sensuality and lightness, others evoke anxious atmospheres where the
deformations and the grotesque are stressed.
Thus, Susel, combines bright
and merry elements, with others, more dense and obscure, to offer us a story
full of shades and contrasts.
In her work, the ocean is
the essence and the metaphor to tell the stories, as well as her deepest
thoughts.
